Helping organizations improve learning systems, and helping families make confident school choices using real data
Research. Program evaluation. Curriculum strategy.
Now offering 1:1 decision-support sessions for families and non-traditional schools (microschools, homeschool collectives, etc.).
What I Can Do For You
Whether you’re a state agency needing a 50-state research scan on a new initiative, a microschool founder needing curriculum support, a family who needs help with a school choice question, or a cultural institution who needs a partner to design a program evaluation, I can serve as a thought partner and help drive your innovation.
I have been a classroom teacher, researcher, university administrator, cultural institution program director, policy wonk, and corporate learning leader. I understand why most reforms fail, and I can help you anticipate challenges that have led to past initiatives not realizing their full potential.

Projects
RoadSchoolUSA
RoadSchoolUSA is an initiative designed to make learning on the road engaging, hands-on, and family-friendly. It offers curated learning-focused itineraries that highlight cultural institutions, historic sites, and natural landmarks, paired with interactive educational activities. The project bridges travel and fun, experiential learning, helping students and families explore U.S. history, science, and the arts in meaningful ways. RoadSchoolUSA also provides resources and tools for educators and parents to enhance each stop with guided lessons and reflection opportunities.
Cultural Access Collaborative
The Cultural Access Collaborative is an HB3 initiative that helps museums and cultural institutions expand their educational reach through inclusive, curriculum-connected programming geared to students in alternative school models (homeschool, microschools, etc.). Services include curriculum design, accessibility strategies, educator and learner-facing tools, and alignment with local or state learning goals. HB3 works directly with institutions, or groups of them, to co-create sustainable models that welcome diverse learners and deepen community impact. Each partnership is customized to reflect the identity, capacity, and mission of the participating organizations.
Local Learning Network (LLN)
The Local Learning Network is a collaboration engine linking microschools and cultural institutions that want to shape the next generation of place-based learning. The LLN builds partnerships: microschools gain access to space, daytime programming capacity, and rich content expertise, while cultural institutions tap into a rapidly growing sector hungry for authentic, local learning experiences.
LLN prioritizes eight early-adopter states for 2026 and will grow as demand builds. The goal is a national network where families, educators, museums, and community institutions co-design flexible learning opportunities that make full use of the landscapes around them: urban, rural, natural, and cultural.
Let’s Talk About Your Goals
In addition to organizational consulting, HB3 now offers targeted decision-support sessions for families and emerging schools, translating the same research and evaluation expertise used by states and national organizations into practical, high-impact guidance.
